OREGON - DAY 6

Before heading to Florence for a dune buggy ride, we stopped for breakfast at The Drift Inn. We wanted some of their famous raspberry crepes. There were 17 of us, and for some strange reason they said they were "out of crepes". We think the chef just didn't want to prepare crepes for that many people! We had a delicious breakfast anyway, and will have to go back another time for crepes...
Riding around the Oregon Sand Dunes was a blast! Austin and his car seat even got to go!
Next stop...Jessie M. Honeyman State Park, and Cleawox Lake. Highlights: Being together with my parents and my sister & her family, beautiful scenery, and watching the kids catch salamanders and kiss them! Maybe the girls thought they would turn into a prince!...
Lunch and shopping in Historic Florence...
On the way back to Yachats, we dropped Brett & Lauren off at the Yachats State Park. They wanted to walk back to the beach house and take photos. The rest of us went down to the beach behind the Overleaf Lodge and hunted for "haggets" (Jensyn's nickname for agates)...
Later that night, Chris family, Brynlee, Darren, and I drove to Newport to see the Movie Cars2. Dale wasn't feeling well, so he didn't come. It was a super fun day!
